Government Support for Industry Partnership

NMRC Clinical Trials Grant (CTG)^

Aims to support clinicians to carry out clinical trials for the development of novel therapies, interventions and diagnostics, focusing on healthcare needs.

There are two schemes under the CTG:

  1. CTG-Industry Collaborative Trials (CTG-ICT) scheme

    • Funding is up to 30% of the Total Projects Costs inclusive of 30% indirect costs. Capped at $4.94M per project and for a duration of up to 5 years.
    • Pre-requisite to obtain industry contribution of at least 70% (cash or in-kind) of the Total Project Costs
    • Open for application throughout the year
  2. CTG-Investigator Initiated Trials (CTG-IIT) scheme

    • Funding is capped at $1.625M per project inclusive of 30% indirect costs for up to 5 years.
    • 2 grant calls each year.

A*STAR Industry Alignment Fund – Pre-Positioning Program (IAF-PP)^

No specific minimum and maximum amount. Inclusive of 30% indirect costs for up to 5 years.

Enterprise Singapore / Healthcare & Biomedical^

Enterprise Singapore has a series of programmes and initiatives, including funding and accelerator programme, to incentivise innovation in the healthcare and biomedical sector.

NHIC / Innovation to Industry (I2I)^

The scheme is for projects which have successfully completed I2D funding (or equivalent as deemed appropriate by NHIC) and which, in conjunction with an industry partner, require co-development for the industry partner to license the technology. Application to this fund is by NHIC invitation only. Please contact NHIC for initial assessment of your proposal.

 

^ Main applicant must be a Clinical Investigator (PI) who must fulfil the necessary eligibility criteria.
